Living in the Truth

There’s nothing magnificent about telling the truth, it’s just living the truth that makes your life honest.

It’s ok not to be ok

Sometimes people forget they all have a unique fingerprint and want to become someone else. It’s because the force of nature still owns the game. We don’t want to look like a threat to others, so we start playing roles.

That’s why our lives look more like a theater. Just a group of actors wearing masks trying to look like someone else. And you play the lead role in this tragedy called “Not my life”. You can see yourself putting on the mask in everyday situations. Or do you talk to your boss in the same way you’d talk to an annoying homeless?

Let’s face it. The biggest problem is that it takes more effort to be open than to be closed. But when you start to act authentically and tell the truth, you’ll become more confident and you will no longer care about other people’s opinions, because you’ve just showed them everything, so you have nothing to hide. Why are you ashamed? Because you are afraid of them discovering your secrets, but now they know everything about you. So there is nothing you can be afraid of.

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

So what’s the quickest way to the tree of the juicy truth?

Ten Commandments for living in the Truth

  1. Admit when you are wrong
  2. Be the first who forgives
  3. Be the first who stands up when everyone else sits down
  4. Be able to see and face reality
  5. Do what YOU think is right, based on your intuition
  6. Say no when the decision is against your moral or ethical values
  7. Stand up for something you believe in
  8. Tell the complete truth and accept the consequences
  9. Achieve transcendence and meaning in life
  10. And the most important…

…I love you

Be the first who says “I love you”. Because at the end, you won’t care about your house and your Lamborghini. You’ll care just about people you’ve loved the most and people who loved you the most.

Pick whichever you like the most and spread the love.
