These days, it’s overly hard to find someone who is not using filters on social medias or someone who is not obsessed with showing only the best pictures of themselves. People argue about which profile pic is better and who is getting the most likes not realising that all these likes are just consolations. You seek them because you feel like you are not enough. Like you need to please others because otherwise you end up being alone.
What can I do?
You are not alone. The people you compare yourself to compare themselves to other people as well. I find it utterly difficult to accept love and understanding from others when I’m in a state of anger, shame, anxiety, or depression. But when I stopped comparing myself to others, my life started to change.
I know this will sound a little bit silly, but telling yourself you’re worthless and unlovable won’t make you feel any more worthy or lovable. So stop doing it! You are beautiful. It’s not about your lips, eyes or nose. “But what about my hair? They are too short and disobedient, now I’m not beautiful.”. Wrong. Here’s the truth:
You are not beautiful because you are part of them, they’re beautiful because they are part of you.
You are not obligated to listen to the voice in your had which says “You are not enough”. You already are a masterpiece. Sometimes people write to me saying that they want to get rich but don’t know how. This is the only way you can get rich. By realising you already are a millionaire. Or would you sell your leg for $1,000,000? Remember that there’s nothing wrong with you. Your body is a brilliant organism which is capable of doing anything it wants.
Anyway, I hope you are doing great. If you have any questions, you can send me a message on Instagram, I answer everything. Next Monday, I’ll release my 1st eBook with techniques on how to deal with anger and you can expect another article. <3
